Give fans a reason to join
Decide what you will offer: a download, release updates or news about shows. Describe that offer where you collect the address. Email collection through a download gate requires a plan that includes gates.
Review the records
Open Fans in the artist workspace and inspect new entries after testing your signup journey. Review the recorded consent wording and date. Keep the artist context clear when working with multiple acts; their audiences should not be confused.
Export with a purpose
Use the CSV export when you need a copy of your fan list. Store it carefully and keep its consent context with it. Exporting a list does not create permission for a new use or subscribe people who never agreed.
Plan a relevant follow-up
Write about the release or benefit people signed up for and follow the sending requirements shown in the app. Review audience selection before sending. Measure signup quality and useful engagement, rather than treating every page visitor as a new subscriber.
