Choose a question and period
Start with one release and one date range. Decide whether you are evaluating visits, listening-button clicks or gate unlocks. Comparing different periods or different goals can make a successful change look like a failure.
Follow the visitor journey
Review page traffic, destination buttons and available source information. For a gate, compare visits with unlocks. A click is an action on your page; it does not confirm a completed stream, purchase or follow on another service.
Interpret the numbers carefully
A small number of visits can produce large percentage changes. Missing source data is not proof that nobody shared your page. Music-platform audience metrics and page activity describe different events and may update on different schedules.
Turn one finding into a test
If visits are high but clicks are low, check the page on mobile and make the next step clearer. If visits are low, review promotion and the link used in posts. Keep the date range comparable and note what you changed before judging the next result.
